Please review before scheduling:

  1. Free Initial Phone Consultation:  I will call to schedule a free 30-minute phone consultation after receiving your appointment request.  The phone consultation is an opportunity to discuss what's happening for you now, answer any questions you have, and give you a sense of my style and approach to treatment.

  2. When requesting an appointment, choose a time that works for you on a weekly basis.   We can change our meeting time and frequency of sessions down the road, availability permitting, but it's the best place to start.  The scheduling portal will show my first available appointment, however, if you click on another day you may see other opening.

  3. NOTE: All sessions are currently being conducted via Teletherapy due to COVID-19.  Teletherapy sessions are conducted online with a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform.  For questions about Teletherapy sessions please click here.

  4. "Private Pay" or "Insurance"I see clients who pay privately out-of-pocket (Private Pay), as well as those utilizing their Insurance benefits.   Please review my fees and answers to common related questions by visiting FAQ's Fees, Insurance, Teletherapy
     

  5. Acceptable forms of payment:  A debit/credit card, including FSA/HSA cards, is required to book your first appointment but you won't be charged until after services are rendered.  You may use other forms of payment when we meet (eg. cash or check) if you prefer.

  6. Cancellation policy for initial appointments:  Please provide 24-hours notice if you need to cancel your first appointment to avoid being charged.  On the fence?  Remember that you can cancel with advance notice, even after the consultation, and you won't be charged.   Let's talk.
